Bébé Regnier, President       

Lampworks was Founded in 1996 as an answer to the need
for Quality, Custom Lighting.

The first to offer custom fabrication of lighting and lampshades,

where everything may be found in one location. Founder and

Chief Designer, Bébé Regnier, grasps the subtleties of lighting and

the critical role it plays in setting the mood in a room. As she sees it,

“Lighting is often considered an accessory, when it’s really a necessity.

I know from personal experience how frustrating it is trying to find the

right lighting for a specific situation. Subsequently, I’ve made it my

professional mission to minimize design angst.”

Ms. Regnier served on the Board of the East Midtown Partnership, a

Business Improvement District of NYC.  The BID is responsible for

branding the district.  As Chair of the Merchant Committee, Bébé was instrumental in creating “The Decorative Arts District” of NYC, so named

by the Mayor’s Office.  Formerly Director of Interior Design for

Bloomingdale's, and a Store Planner with Macy*s Corporate, Ms. Regnier

is a sought-after speaker who writes about lighting for national magazines.
